"La Casa della Vigna Vecchia"
"La Casa della Vigna Vecchia" or in English "The House of the Ancient Vine" is an old house made of stone next to our home. It was recently restored in a simple but stylish way. The building dates back to the 1600s and was always used as a house although it was changed and rearranged several times to which the various niches and openings uncovered during the restoration can attest. It is about 150 sq.meters, divided between two floors. On the ground floor there is a large sitting room with an original stone fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast nook and a lavatory. On the second floor there are two spacious bedrooms which are nicely decorated and each with a private bath. The main entrance is from the large front garden which boasts on old stone well, while there is a second door from the breakfast room that opens into a private courtyard that can be used for dinners outside under the old mulberry tree in the summer.
